Sometimes ago, my community had light for two weeks uninterrupted. Though we later suffered for it but we enjoyed it while it lasted
During the period we were fasting from the excess light we had used I did my findings and I was told that a church in my area paid for the light because they were having an annual program.
Then I got thinking if we could use two weeks light and the nepa office didn't get burnt, it's not going to cost them anything to give us steady light.
What am I even saying? My people will say if someone promise you a dress, the first thing to do is to check what the person is wearing (Eni maa da aso fun ni ti orun re laawo) She nepa office wey dey use generator.
To answer today's prompt, how I cope when nepa takes. Light is that I have rechargeable and solar touch. To charge my phone, I rent mopo rechargeable power bank. When all power is down then I will power my generator.
@beckyroyal @rukkie @ozd come and tell us how you cope without nepa
This NEPA issue is like a cancer in Nigeria oo.
Real one
😂😂
I'm trying to imagine how much the church must have paid to have a steady light for 2 weeks. NEPA people just want to torment us, because it's actually possible to give every area lasting power daily.
