Pets are domestic animals that are rear inside our house either for security, for the purpose of companionship or commercial purposes.

If I am to have any animal for a pet, I would choose cat. I have a lot of reasons for choosing a cat over all other animals and few of them are:

Life span: If cats are well taken care of, they can live between thirteen to eighteen years with little or no sickness and one will want to make a lasting friendship so that period would be a long time to create good memories together with my cat.

Size and weight: In choosing a pet, I would want to choose an animal I can easily carry and move around. The weight of an average cat is usually between six to sixteen pounds and they can be nine to ten inches long depending on their age and maturity and these are good size and weight that can be easily moved around.

Maintenance: Cats unlike other animals are easy to maintain around the house and can be feed with human food alongside their normal meals which makes it a pocket and budget friendly animal. Further more, their vaccination are easily accessable and can be provided by veterinary around.

Pest Control: Cats are natural hunters so they keep the home clean and free from mice, insects, geko or rats.

In gender selection, I would choose both male and female cat so they reproduce offsprings which would replace them as they might be getting old.

Amazing . I totally agree with you, I presently have a cat in the house, he is indeed helpful because I don't have single rat in the house at the moment all thanks to my cat.
