Kiss blog 175: The blue Slippers Gifts

A minimalist is someone who embraces simplicity and intentional living by reducing unnecessary elements in their lives. A minimalist lives in a simple and clean environment so they tend to declutter their physical space from time to time in order to get rid of items that may not be useful to them.

Talking about minimalist flaws, it can simply be explained as the smallest imperfections or defects in their choice of design or product. If one is a minimalist, the flaw gets noticed in time unlike in others, people usually notice the flaw on time because it doesn't just fit well.

I got to experience this minimalist flaw recently, I am glad it was noticed on time. It made me understand that people around me are finally accepting me for who I am and are getting to understand me. Some time ago, I was given a pair of slippers by someone close to me as a gift. After receiving the gift I found out that it's a common pair of slippers that I see ladies wearing like every day I go out.

The slippers had been sitting pretty well on my shoe rack for months now. It had been sitting there because it's not my choice of design and colour. In slippers, I prefer to go for the plain colours like black, gold, nude or silver as these colours easily blend or can be used with anything.

I decided to wear this blue slipper that was gifted to me for an outing and a friend said to me Ade, who bought this slippers for you? I responded saying I bought it myself nah then she said you that I know will never buy this kind of colour of slippers you usually go for colour you can use on more than three outfits at a time.

I just smiled and told her babes you know me so well, the slippers are a gift and it has been with me for a while now then she said I thought as much because I trust you to be meticulous in every choice you make. All I could do was just smile because this lady understands me so well.
