Days ran into weeks, weeks in months and months into year and it was the last year Abby was to spend in secondary school.

As the tradition demands, all students in the external examination class are expected to stay in school as boarding students so they will be able to study with undivided attention for their examination. As usual, the principal addressed the students by saying to them as you all know, Queen School is known for academic excellence and this is not attainable without constant and continuous study by our students.

He coughed a little and continued. I expect that by now all our senior students in terminal class should have packed your bags. We will start receiving you into the hostile by this weekend and I assure you that your teachers will always be on ground to help you out and assure you of maximum security. After his speech the students applauded him before marching to their respective classes.

The evening after the principal speech, Abby talked to her aunt about her moving to the school hostel but aunt was not ready to have it so Abby decided to talk to the principal to make an exemption for her,she needed her friend Dolupo to follow her to the principal's office for morale support. Then she discussed it with her the following morning immediately after assembly……. Dolu, please I need you to follow me to the principal's office so I can explain my situation to him.

Abby signed the two and was relieved a little as they left the principal's office.
