I might be wrong,but I think suicide isn't accepted because your life isn't yours to take. It's for this same reason that murder is equally frowned upon. I can't say for a fact where people who OD on drugs end up, that's really not for me to decide.
While I haven't seen God physically, I can say that his presence, his hand in my affairs have been felt personally.

@ellieone i remember your soft voice :) ... you know its a very deep subject, as i was taking care of my stepmum until she died in my arms and i fought against the agenda of drugs to kill faster... all those pills people take and most end up in hospitals to die of overdose, you can be rich or poor, it goes the same. so yes, it is very serious to talk about God when we know how people end their life... i see it as disguised suicide or disguised murder and spiritually it is a huge problem.

I honestly couldn't agree more, the subject of drug overdose is often overlooked whereas, it is one of the biggest problems anyone could have.
I understand where you're coming from and I'm really sorry you had to go through that. Accept my condolences for your stepmum.
