RE: False Freedom

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

This question has me pondering a little hard to be honest. I do agree that choice or the ability to choose rather is in it's right an element of freedom but what happens when our choices put us in a position where we absolutely lose the element of choice?. What if in getting lost to that higher force, we lose ourselves in the process?.
Thank you so much for your contribution, it is greatly appreciated.

Then that’s actually on us. Our actions have consequences. The sad part is that sometimes those actions also affect innocent people. If we make wrong choices, it might lead us to loosing the opportunity to make more choices.

You’re welcome.

You are absolutely correct. Sometimes innocent bystanders are caught in the war between ourselves and our choices because though they may be our choices, they often affect people around or closest to us. It's in this case, that I think the saying "opportunities come but once" fits perfectly. We often lose our opportunities just because of the ill choices we make.
Thank you very much once again.😊

opportunities come but once

For the first time in a while, I think this truly fits.

It’s my pleasure stopping by.
