Wednesday Walk: Gentle Stroll in the Morning Mist

(Edited)

Before the sun emerged, there was an early morning mist. The air was slightly chilly, but the weather forecasters had
assured us of a warm, sunny day ahead.

As I entered the forest for my #wednesdaywalk initiated by @tattoodjay, it was very quiet apart from the soft chirping of the birds.

In the heart of the forest, this area offers good opportunities for bushcrafting, allowing people to connect with nature while honing their survival skills.

The vibrant green moss clung to the trees, standing out against the mist that enveloped the forest.

During my walk, I encountered some fungi on a tree and yellow gorse blooming along the path. Gorse can thrive in various conditions and is a food source for many species, including bees and other pollinators

Finally, I spotted some little periwinkles. These creeping plants will cover the ground with their lovely purple-blue flowers.

The warm orange leaves on the trees were a beacon in the mist.

It was the best time to go for a walk because nobody was about, so I had the whole forest to myself.

The mist adds mystery to the whole surrounding. Wow, the entrance to the forest has that eerie feeling for me. It is just because of my imagination perhaps... Love how the orange leaves lighten up the greyish area. You had a wonderful and peaceful ME time at the forest.
