The Weirdo in the Graveyard
I met a friend of mine today, and we decided to enjoy the sunshine by visiting the local graveyard. I think it was at this point that I realised I take people to the nicest of places ... 😁 In my defence, I do enjoy a good graveyard. I find them quite peaceful and interesting of places. Nobody can hurt you here ....
It was a really pretty place with a few rhododendron and azalea bushes.
I think this building is an old chapel, but I'm not sure if it's still in use. I've never actually seen it open.
My friend was trying to find a couple of his relative's graves. As my friend is a wheelchair user, it was left to me to go searching between the gravestones.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find them. I'm sure he was making the names up just so I looked like the weirdo in the graveyard.
I will do a bit more research so that next time we visit the graveyard, we can find the graves.
I did come across a woman called 'Fanny', but that's another story! UK readers will understand that reference ....
Beautiful photos of flowers, this place looks so pleasant to get a great walk there
Strange but good!
Beautiful surroundings and well kept graveyard. The weather looks very warm for a change!
It could change in a second ... 😁
Oh! I hope not so soon! It’s the beginning of summer.’
