The Day the Shopping Trolley Went Skating

Looking at the weather today, you wouldn't think the ground was covered in snow yesterday. It rained all day, so the snow has mostly gone. I had a walk around the park in my local town.

The past few days, it's been really difficult to walk around in the snow and ice. There were times it was quite lethal underfoot. It was a lot better this morning and I was able to walk more easily.

Some idiot had thrown a supermarket trolley onto the frozen pond. I know kids will try and break the ice, but I think it's the older element who are the culprits. The groundsperson will have to fish it out.

The colours looked really good against the red railings. I did a lap of the park, and then made my way up into town to get some exercise, and to do a bit of shopping.
