The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 404: Mad Goose Pale Ale

I recently had the opportunity to try Mad Goose Pale Ale, a product from Purity Brewery, which is located on a farm in the Warwickshire countryside in the UK. This pale ale has an alcohol content of 4.2%, making it a moderate choice for those looking to enjoy a refreshing beer without it being too strong.

One interesting fact of the Mad Goose Pale Ale is its packaging. On the label, it states the brewery has introduced a new lightweight bottle that is 50g lighter than their previous bottles. This reduces the brewery’s packaging emissions by a good 7.3%. The beer is named after a feisty goose that lives on the farm which is also a nice touch, so it was only fitting that the beer was suitable for vegans.

In terms of flavour, I found Mad Goose Pale Ale to be quite refreshing with a slight zestiness that made it an enjoyable drink. It quenched my thirst on a warm day. However, while it was enjoyable, it did not leave a lasting impression on me. I appreciated the taste but felt that it lacked something that wouldn’t make me choose it again in the future.

Overall, Mad Goose Pale Ale is a good choice for beer drinkers seeking a light and refreshing beer, but it just wasn't memorable enough for me to become a regular choice.

As an aside, I save bottle tops as I plan to do something arty with them. Unfortunately, that's as far as I get!

This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @derbyshirelad to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
