Show Me A Photo (#SMaP) Contest Round 210 - Free Theme

Recently, we saw two robins perched on a gatepost. I really like robins; they look lovely with their red breasts, and they linger long enough for me to capture photographs, unlike other birds that quickly snatch up food and dart away.

One of the robins suddenly looked up and tilted its head as it spotted something high up in the tree above. Whatever it was exactly remained a mystery.

They appeared to be engaged in a lively conversation, exchanging chirps and food, before one of them took flight and disappeared into the sky.

This is my entry to the Show Me A Photo (#SMaP) Contest Round 210 - Free Theme.

During our visit, we also spotted some greylag geese and a shoveler. The shoveler has a very distinctive beak which resembles a shovel, which helps with foraging for food.

Thank you to @nelinoeva and the Feathered Friend's team for running the contest.

I loved all the pictures. The shoveler is beautiful with those colors and very funny how it drinks water and catches its food.
Thanks @ellenripley for sharing them
