Phone Photography Contest - #51: A Sunday Walk

This morning, the sun rose early, and it seemed as if everyone had swapped their winter clothing for summer ones overnight. As we walked through the woods, the sunlight filtered through the trees.

Once we got through the woods, it was a lot warmer in the sun. We carried on walking along the top of the fields, next to the lovely stone wall.

It was really good to stroll along the now-dry footpaths, free from the discomfort of muddy shoes. The warm sun has definitely worked its magic on the footpaths. You can just see my friend's little dog peeping out from the wall, making sure we were still there.

From the top, there are lovely views of the countryside, where the green fields stretch under the beautiful blue sky.

Given that the weather in the UK can change rapidly, it is good to take full advantage of warm, sunny days. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

To a large extent, we all take for granted what we have. But really, this place is so naturally beautiful that my wife and I would happily spend our entire life in such a place. :)

Wow! Blue sky and green fields! Nice walk in wonderful weather. I would love to walk there too. That doggie looks so funny! He’s afraid of being left behind.

I love the variety of shades of green that we can see in these images, definitely the sun makes you see how majestic nature is, I would love to have those trails nearby, to see if once and for all I leave my laziness to go out for a walk.

It was a glorious weekend, last week was lovely but we’ve definitely plunged back into winter this week. Had sleet down here in Berks yesterday. It didn’t turn into much.

Yes, it's been weird weather even for the UK. I've gone from shorts to gloves in a matter of days. 😁
