Not a Cow in Sight!

It was chilly this morning as I took my morning walk. The sun was out so it didn't take long for me to warm up. I spotted the lovely fuchsias hanging over the stone wall.

I found this 'hocus pocus' painted rock that someone had left for Halloween. The finder has to take a photo and post it on Facebook saying where it was found and then rehide it. All good fun.

The reflections on the lake looked particularly nice today. Not much birdlife, though.

I managed to walk over the fields as the cows had been mooooved to a different field.

If you look closely there is a flock of Canada geese in the middle of the photo. There is a large lake not far from here but they like to hang out in the field. They graze on the grass and seeds. They can also see if any predators are about.

There are some picturesque views around here. There's a house in the distance. It must be good living in the middle of the countryside.
