Newsflash: Sun Comes Out, Sky Turns Blue!

Something strange happened today, the sun was out and we had a lovely blue sky. It's probably the first time in several months that I haven't had to wear a hat, scarf, and gloves as I took a ride into the countryside. I felt a little guilty taking a photo of the sheep as they all came running, thinking I was the farmer coming to feed them. They soon stopped when they realised their mistake.

I spotted these cyclists coming towards me, so it was fine. When they're behind you, sometimes, cyclists only decide to ring their bell or shout when they're practically beside you. They don't give you enough warning. By the time your brain has processed what's happening, they've ridden past you, just missing you.

I will never tire of the yellow lichen contrasting nicely with the red berries of the hawthorn bush.

The silver birch tree stood out next to the brown bracken and the dark green bushes.

I stopped to take a photo of this farm down below, and then headed home. The weather can change very quickly here, so I didn't want to push my luck.

Lovely blue sky! Very nice day for a long walk.
