My Entry to the #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 246 - Free Theme

The photos are of a holiday break in Llandudno, Wales in October. There are numerous Alice in Wonderland statues in the area, because it is alleged the writer, Lewis Carroll, and his family visited the Liddell family in Llandudno. Their daughter, Alice Pleasance Liddell, was perhaps the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland. Nobody knows for sure. The Mad Hatter statue is on the promenade where the gulls take full advantage of it using it as a perching point.

I know gulls have a bad reputation for divebombing people, especially if they have an ice cream, but I think they're funny characters.

On the coast, the gulls sometimes land on the window sill to roost or nest. I'm sure some are looking for food as well. This one is peeping through the window.
This is my entry to the #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 246 - Free Theme. Thank you to @nelinoeva and the #feathersfriend team for running the contest.

Thank you. 🙏
So glad to see your entry. 🙂
Gulls are funny creatures and they can pinch anything you are eating. Such thieves. 😀
