Moo-ve Over, Darling - My Entry to the Phone Photography Contest - #66

avatar

I started off my village walk in a jacket as it was overcast and quite windy. When I got to this point the sun appeared and it got quite hot.

I stopped to say hello to the two horses at the stables. The brown one was reaching up to eat the leaves off the tree and the white one was keeping its eye on me. There's lots of pesky flies around at the moment so one of the horses had a fly mask on as flies are attracted to animals' eyes.

As I carried on I came to a blind bend. There's two traffic mirrors in the trees that help drivers see if anything is coming around the corner. They always remind me of a pair of sunglasses.

The people who live in the houses in the distance have a lovely view of the lake.

It was my intention to climb over the style and do a circular walk through the fields. Unfortunately, a herd of cows were congregating near the gate blocking my access. They were standing in the shade and they obviously couldn't see the sign.

I love cows but I'm a bit nervous walking through them. I stroked them and decided to go the other way!

Over the brow of the hill is a lovely cottage with pink roses growing up the wall.

The sky was lovely and blue but it was getting quite hot at this point. I was really glad when I got home and into the shade.

Thank you to @untilwelearn and the team for running the Phone Photography Contest - #66.
