Misty Walks: Caring for My Friend's Dog Over the Christmas Period

I met a friend of mine to pick up her precious cargo... her dog! I'm looking after Buddy while she goes on holiday for the Christmas period. My friend was stopping on a campsite.

There were a few fairy lights on the outside tree to brighten the proceedings up a little.

I like the iconic British phone box in the yard, that was now being used as a mini library. Visitors can choose a book to read during their stay at the campsite.

It was a very misty morning which was a shame as sunny weather had been forecast.

Later on in the day, the mist cleared and we finally saw the lovely views of the countryside from the lane next to the campsite. Even though it was still overcast, there were pockets of sunshine on the horizon.

And back home to more mist! It's a good job he has a neon collar for when we go out later. If I let him off the lead, at least I can still spot him in the mist. It's quite funny seeing all these different colour collars walking up and down. You can't see the dog, but can see the collar that looks like it's floating in mid air!
