Misty Walks and Hanging Art in the Wood

Driving out of the village for my morning walk, visibility was clear. However, on the outskirts of the village it was quite misty. If visibility isn't great, there is only one place to go for a walk, and that's Farley Wood. It's always a scenic walk, but when it's misty, it looks even better. I parked up in the small layby next to the mossy stone wall and walked through the gate.

I decided to take a different footpath, one I hadn't used before. I have no sense of direction so it wasn't long before I'd lost my bearings. Thank goodness for Google Maps, otherwise I might still be walking around aimlessly wishing I'd made a packed lunch!

It wasn’t far into my walk that I came across some artwork. I think they might be dreamcatchers. I really enjoy finding art like this. It's a spark of joy in the world.

As per usual, there were a few joggers and dog walkers out.

Again, I came to lots of flooding. We really need a warm, dry summer to dry out the flooded areas.

The more I advanced into the wood, the darker it became. It was still quite mild, though. Thanks to Google Maps, I did manage to get back to my parked car, so I headed back home for lunch.

A pesar de la niebla y el musgo es un paisaje muy bello , me encanta el frío

Very nice and foggy walk in the quiet woods. It has some mystreius vibes and aloofness.
There's some aloof people as well. 🙂😖
There is something truly magical about a misty morning in the woods. Farley Wood looks like the perfect place to get lost in—metaphorically speaking! The mist adds such a beautiful, atmospheric layer to the scenery that you just don't get on a clear day.
You definitely can't beat a bit of mist!
