Fungi in the Graveyard and Forest

I haven’t seen much fungi of late, but as autumn is just around the corner, which is one of my favourite seasons with misty damp mornings, I hope to find more fungi.

I quite like walking through graveyards especially if there is an interesting grave there from the 1800s. As I walked around the churchyard, I wasn't expecting to spot some fungi growing between the graves.

I've never seen any here before, so I took a few photos, making sure I didn't step on anyone's grave! I just hoped the vicar didn't make an appearance. I'm not sure how I would explain myself. 🙃

The next batch was in the forest. I'm not really sure what kind they all were, perhaps some were boletes? At least I know now to keep an eye out for them in churchyards in the coming months.

This is my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw.
