Down and Dirty with the Fungi!

I had another successful week looking for fungi. A few different ones this time but still a lot of fly agerics about. The bigger ones were further into the wood.

Unfortunately, it is a bit overgrown and more difficult underfoot to stray too far. The moss is very soft so even if you think it's firm you can quickly loose your footing. The branches are low hanging as well, so I come out with a load of twigs in my hair!

I think these are sulphur tufts. Normally, I see them growing in clusters on decaying tree stumps. There has been a lot this year.

It looks like this little mole got a surprise seeing all the fungi around the molehill.

It was a nice surprise finding these. I'm not sure if they are shaggy inkcaps or shaggy manes. I don’t see a lot around here. Whatever they are they looked really good.

I'm not sure if I will be lucky enough to find any more but I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far.

This is my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw.
