A Stroll through Blossoms, Catkins, and Lakes in the Country Park

The warm weather continued as I took a stroll around Grassmoor Country Park, which is quite local to me. This location is ideal for both walking and enjoying a picnic amongst nature. There are numerous trails available. I opted for a circular route around the park, including a detour through the woods and around the lakes.

From the wooden seat, you can enjoy a lovely view of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery and white blossom.

An industrial area is in close proximity, but it does not detract from the beauty of the park.

At the entrance of the wooded area, there is another wooden bench that has become quite popular among visitors. This bench is frequently used. You can tell by the worn patches of grass surrounding it, indicating that many people have taken a moment to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Catkins swayed gently among the beech trees that lined the wooded path. I don’t like to get too close to the beech trees, as there's a golf course nearby and you sometimes get stray golf balls flying through the air in that area. I didn’t want to go back with concussion!

I'm taking advantage of the nice weather. Knowing the UK, I will probably have to get my sledge out next week.
