A Ramble around the Country Lanes

A bit of a wet start to the day as I trudged around the country lanes in my quest to keep fit. The snowdrops are out, and I'm looking forward to plants coming into bud and having a bit of colour in the hedgerows. It is pretty dull at the moment.

Halfway around, I bumped into a fellow villager. After having a chat about health issues, vitamins, and exercise, I carried on. I think he is on the same page as me. After he had a bit of a health scare, he's realised a brisk walk keeps his blood pressure down.

There was a tiny fungus growing in the top of the wall. It was at an awkward angle to get a good photo, but I did my best.

Returning over the fields, at the very top of the hill is the grave of a farmer. His family has carried on running the farm. From his grave there are lovely views over the fields.

There were sheep in the next field. Even though they were far away, I could see there's always one sheep looking to see what I'm doing. It was time to go home.

Saw my first snowdrops today, in a churchyard. Always a great moment every year.
I might pop up to my local church tomorrow to hunt for snowdrops. They will look nice in a churchyard.
By the way, I've subbed to your Youtube channel. I don’t do any videos now. I think I just got more interested in Hive. I might start my channel up again, though. I'm Ms Goddamn Robot. 😁
You should go and have a look. Thanks for your subscription! Let me know your channel link.
I think this it it. Thanks. https://youtube.com/@msgoddamnrobot?si=5fde_vIFw8a_CJlF
@ellenripley which of my channels did toy subscribe to? nicklewis or modulations?
Nick Lewis. I've just watched the Berks & Hampshire one.
Ah cool, thanks.
I’ve got another one in the works. Will go up as soon as I’ve edited it.
I will look out for it!
It’s gone up but I think the export has done wrong frame rate
Yes, I've got it on now. Lovely church!
I’m uploading a fresh video, as I wasn’t happy with the way it had exported, so fixed now.
It’s a fantastic place. Thanks for watching.
I watched it on my tv. I noticed a slight drag but ok now.
I watch a lot of YouTube content on the telly, it’s often better than a lot of real TV!
My favourites are John Rogers who does a lot of London walks. Steve Marsh who’s travelling to various fascinating places. Cruising the cut is a good one in canals and narrowboat stuff.
Me too! I think 80% of my tv viewing is on Youtube.
Snowdrops already! Holy mother of God! We have -18C during the night here. You're lucky with such a mild weather. I love snowdrops, but no collecting them as they are protected here.
This particular group have been through for a couple of weeks. I just kept forgetting to photograph them. The weather is weird in the UK.
