Your Mental Health is Your Health
It is unfortunate that these days we have a lot of people smiling but who are going through a lot, and I think people should be aware of the possible signs of mental health illnesses, so we know how to treat and help people who are victims.

Mental health is generally about how people (I mean you and me) behave, feel, and think, we can say basically, it's about a person's existence. Mental health issues can be described generally as encompassing our way of life. The mental health of a person can affect the entire activities of an individual, as well as relationships, and even our physical health. This is the more reason why, when the mental health of a person is taken care of properly, then life can be enjoyed in full.
The moment stress, anxiety, and depression get into the life of a person, there come big problems as well showing in their daily routine and every other part of their life. Mental health disorder is a general term for describing this scenario, it includes a long list of other subtypes, the list is as long as 200 other types of mental health disorders. Eating disorder, anxiety disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, substance use disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder to mention but a few of the common ones.

A lot of people experience mental health situations from time to time, but it becomes a concern when it causes a lot of stress and it begins to affect daily activities. The symptoms of mental illness cannot be easily described on a general note, and this is because there are different types of disorders and they vary in symptoms too. Symptoms that are expected includes; Extreme feeling of guilt, fear or worries, Feeling sad or down, Serious change of mood, Withdrawal from activities and friends, Being nervous, Inability to cope with stress of any sort, Change in feeding habits, Excessive anger, and hostility, and Suicidal thoughts.
Looking after your mental health gives you the chance to live a good life. While everyone can develop a mental health disorder regardless of their age and ethnicity, certain people stand a higher chance of having mental health problems. Some childhood experiences, underlying medical conditions, and social and financial situations can shape a person's mental wellness status. Lack of sufficient financial resources to meet up with peers and people within the same age bracket can make someone develop some of these mental health conditions.
In the same way, we have different types of mental health disorders, so does the treatment differ too, and what works for one person may most likely not work for another person. Walking closely with the medical practitioner in charge of the case is important to finding a solution to mental health problems. Psychotherapy or talk therapy, which could be talk therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and exposure therapy. Medications like antidepressants, drugs for anxiety, and antipsychotics. Lifestyle changes like the stopping of alcohol and smoking may also be advised by a medical practitioner.
Mental health disorders are not death sentences, with proper management and treatment plans, an affected person could still live a good life even with the condition.
