Hive Music Festival Week 182 Round 2 | ¿Qué pides tu? - Alex Ubago (cover)
Hola un gran saludo, espero de corazón que ustedes estén muy bien. Me pareció quizás, un poco, no sé, divertido o entretenido… El intento de cantar tres canciones de Alex Ubago para esta edición del Hive Music Festival. ¿Por qué no? Aunque ahora que he cantado dos de las pocas canciones que realmente recuerdo del autor, me pregunto cuál debería ser la siguiente; sospecho que escogeré aquella canción que tanto me gustaba, que hablaba sobre una madre algo triste… “Otro día más”, creo que era el nombre de la canción; aunque ahora no tengo claro el cómo se desarrolla la canción, sí recuerdo muy bien que disfruté muchas horas escuchando esas letras y melodías, era sin duda mi canción favorita de Alex, junto a “Fantasía o Realidad”.
Siempre que pienso o hablo de la canción “Fantasía o Realidad” me viene a la mente aquella serie juvenil “Bienvenida realidad”. Si no me equivoco, la serie era mexicana y me gustaba un montón, simplemente no logro recordar los personajes tanto como quisiera jajaja, pero realmente disfruté esa serie. Ahora, musicalmente, esa serie me dio a conocer por sus canciones a la banda “Miro”; es una banda de rock en español mexicana que tiene canciones excelentes; el vocalista de la banda para mí tiene una voz muy genial, combina características delirantes con notas altas y carrasposas algunas veces, de verdad que tienen canciones muy geniales, aunque con el tiempo deje de escuchar la banda, siempre logra sacarme sonrisas cuando los recuerdo. Canciones como “nubes”, “una vuelta cielo”, “aférrate” y “miedo al color” son canciones que no puedo dejar de recomendar si es que algún amante al rock en español por coincidencia llega a leer este post.

Hello everyone, I sincerely hope you're all doing well. I thought it might be a little... I don't know... fun or entertaining to try and sing three Alex Ubago songs for this year's Hive Music Festival. Why not? Although now that I've sung two of the few songs I actually remember by him, I'm wondering which one should be next. I suspect I'll choose that song I loved so much, the one about a somewhat sad mother... "Another Day," I think that was the name. While I'm not entirely sure how the song goes, I do remember spending many hours listening to those lyrics and melodies. It was definitely my favorite Alex song, along with "Fantasy or Reality."
Whenever I think or talk about the song "Fantasy or Reality," I'm reminded of that teen series "Welcome Reality." If I'm not mistaken, the series was Mexican, and I loved it. I just can't remember the characters as well as I'd like, haha, but I really enjoyed that show. Now, musically, that series introduced me to the band "Miro" through its songs; they're a Mexican Spanish rock band with excellent songs. The lead singer has a fantastic voice, combining eccentric characteristics with high, sometimes raspy, notes. They truly have great songs, and although I stopped listening to them over time, they always bring a smile to my face when I think of them. Songs like "Nubes," "Una Vuelta Cielo," "Aférrate," and "Miedo al Color" are songs I highly recommend if any Spanish rock fans happen to read this post.
