Greetings and a lovely Thursday TBT to everyone.

Every week, the memories we share bring back a piece of our lives, but many of them leave us feeling a pang of nostalgia.

I apologize for the quality of the images; they were taken with a non-professional camera 25 years ago.

I fondly remember this outing with my friends. Mayo, Yamila, and I lived in Las Tunas, but whenever we had a chance, we would escape to Puerto Padre to spend time with Elier, Damaris, and Raulito. All together we were a picture of fun, laughter, and wit.

This time we visited the zoo, and my fat darling couldn't resist taking a picture with the hippopotamus because, according to him, they looked "just like each other."

This other photograph marked a very important moment: Yamila and Mayo had recently started dating as a couple, only I knew and they couldn't find a way to tell the rest of the group, so they asked me to take the photo while they announced to the others that they were going to show a performance called "No Secrets." The jubilation, hugs and congratulations were immediate.

To this day, they all remain in contact with me. I haven't seen them for a long time, but we talk, we write, and the friendship remains fresh and vibrant. Despite the distance, there's no shortage of advice, consolation, eternal jokes and laughter, and stories from "back in the day." Somehow, we always come to the same conclusion: we would repeat this stage exactly the same way again, because we fully lived the most beautiful friendship, and if it still endures, it's because we did it right.

Saludos y bonito jueves de TBT tengan todos.

Cada semana los recuerdos que compartimos nos devuelven un pedazo de vida, pero muchos de ellos nos pasan factura con una nostalgia que punza en el pecho.

Me disculpo por la calidad de las imágenes, fueron tomadas con una cámara fotográfica no profesional hace ya 25 años.

Recuerdo con muchísimo cariño esta salida con mis amigos. Mayo, Yamila y yo vivíamos en la Ciudad de Las Tunas, pero cada vez que teníamos una oportunidad nos escapábamos hasta Puerto Padre para compartir con Elier, Damaris y Raulito. Todos juntos éramos una película de diversión, risas y ocurrencias.

En esta ocasión visitamos el zoológico y mi gordo querido no pudo evitar hacerse una foto con el hipopótamo porque según él eran "igualitos"

Esta otra fotografía marcó un momento muy importante: Yamila y Mayo habían comenzado a salir como pareja hacía poco tiempo, solo yo lo sabía y no encontraban manera de decirlo al resto del grupo, así que me pidieron hacer la foto mientras anunciaban a los demás que iban a mostrar un performance nombrado "Sin secretos" La algarabía, abrazos y felicitaciones no se hicieron esperar.

Hasta el día de hoy todos permanecemos en contacto. Hace muchísimo que no los he vuelto a ver pero hablamos, nos escribimos, se mantiene fresca y vibrante la amista. No faltan a pesar de la distancia los consejos, el consuelo, las eternas bromas y risas, las historias de "aquellos tiempos" y de alguna manera siempre llegamos a la misma conclusión: volveríamos a repetir esta etapa exactamente igual otra vez, porque vivimos a plenitud la más hermosa amistad y, si todavía perdura, es porque lo hicimos bien.
