Like at home// My Entry to Coffee Shop Prompt #132
Greetings, my dear friends at @cinnamoncupcoffee. It's wonderful to have you here to share my adventures in the cafes of Camagüey.
Coffee, for me, is more than just a delicious beverage in my cup; it's become essential in every moment. Whether it's raining or sunny, a hot sip of black coffee or a cortado comforts and accompanies me, without questions or conditions.
If it's a sunny day, I prefer to visit places like Café Alberto. An open, informal place where people from all walks of life gather, where people chat, work, and take advantage of the good connection to share a sip of coffee over video calls with friends or family who are no longer in this region.
I like many things about it. The decor is deliberately rustic, redolent of the Camagüey countryside, of our roots. I'm also grateful that it specializes only in coffee; it doesn't offer anything else, so when I sit there, I can be sure that those around me share my passion for coffee, and that makes me feel like I'm among friends.
Another virtue of the place is that they never rush customers; you can have a cup of coffee and spend the rest of the day sitting there reading, working, chatting, or reflecting on life—whatever you want. They'll never ask you to leave your seat to sit and serve someone else.
That's why I chose it for this short trip with my daughter Alejandra. The day was beautiful, I was full of energy, and I didn't want to stay home working, so we went to Alberto's.
Ale joined me with an espresso, we chatted for a while, and then she had to say goodbye to attend to other commitments. I stayed in my cozy corner, ordered a cortado, and started writing this post to tell you what it's like to feel as comfortable as home in a public place.
You still have time to share your experiences. Here's the link to the [contest for week #132](https://ecency.com/hive-152524/@cinnccf/the-coffee-shop-prompt-or-week-132-aug-28-sep-3

I love how you capture the feeling of being at home in a café. Sounds like a perfect day with your daughter!”
Yes, it was. She actually introduced me to this place for the first time a couple of years ago. We share a passion for coffee. Thanks for stopping by and for such a lovely connection. ☕️🤍
Aww, that’s so sweet! I’m glad we both love this place and coffee. It was really nice catching up with you too! ☕️🤍"
