A veces las sombras parecen una parodia del objeto que las proyecta, otra veces les otorgan una vida terrorífica a las cosas más simples. La sombra que les traigo me pareció, al verla, un acto de amor.

En un solar vecino abandonado sembré algunos cangres de yuca, cuando se hicieron lo suficientemente fuertes planté, a sus pies, un calabazar.

Van creciendo juntas, ayudándose. Mientras la calabaza mantiene húmedo y fresco el terreno, las plantas de yuca ofrecen protección contra los fuertes rayos del sol.

En la imagen pareciera que la hoja de calabaza recoge amorosa, como un beso, la sombra estrellada de la hoja de yuca.
