Yeah it seems like the most wealthy people are the most miserable
Is that true? I'm not rich, would love to hear from those with experience.
Is it just something to keep people from striving to be wealthy.

It all depends on the person honestly. Plenty of poor people sad but also happy. Just all about perspective and how you live your life. Be grateful for what you have but always strive to do better and be better.
So there are poor sad and happy, rich sad and happy, which only proves your point
