My New Journey on Skincare

I am not a big fan of makeup, although it does not stop me from admiring those who use it and know how to use it. Since I am not a fan of makeup, I had made up my mind that once I had enough cash, I was going to go into skincare for myself to improve my physical outlook, and help maintain my skin and improve my glow since I have no plan of joining the makeup gang, no offense though, but it has never been my thing.

I had to enquire from people I knew who were involved in the skincare business, to know the budget I was going to plan toward but after getting their prices, the minimalist in me couldn't help but question why I should remove such an amount of money just for that, and so at the end of the day, I decided that I wasn't ready to start what I can not finish, i know I could afford it, if I plan towards if but the pain of removing such huge amount, wouldn't let me.

Well, for a long, I continued to postpone buying these things because of the money and especially as I couldn't bring myself to remove a huge amount of money just to get those products when such money could help me meet another need, so continuously, I postponed taking the step in beginning my skincare journey.

Secondly, I was afraid of starting it because I heard people say something like, "If you start it, you can not stop it because your skin will grow accustomed to it and if you one day don't get to use it, it will be obvious. I heard a lot of side effects and I was beginning to wonder how true that was. Those talks kinda kept me on the fence about my choice.

Not until I got encouraged by someone I was following on my social media handle, she said I could start small first, and then upgrade when I am ready and buoyant enough to go for more. She said I didn't need big money to start it, I could go for the affordable ones for now, and so, yeah I did that. I went for the affordable ones, well, a recommended one by a close friend who I had asked about and based on what I had at hand, she told me I could begin with something lesser and affordable and there were no side effects of such.

Although it took me a while to make that choice, but I did take the step and when I finally did, I got these for myself, I do not need to break the bank to purchase these because they are affordable and can last longer depending on how I use them. But I intend to use them judiciously as I track the changes in my skin and see the difference.

In the meantime, here is my review, I love the feel of the soap on my skin, and its fragrance, makes me want to pour too much on my sponge, I hope I don't finish it very fast and the cream, fragrance too is nice and it leaves my skin feeling soft and glowing. These products are good for me and I love the feel on my body and the fragrance. It makes me go out feeling like a queen, lol winks.

For now, these are the two I can get, but I hope to purchase my sunscreen, body oil, and face oil soon but as such, as a minimalist, I go for something affordable anytime, but for now, this is my review, I will take you all on my skincare new journey, I hope I get the result I am aiming for and I will be back to let you all know how the journey is going.

Oh you can stop when you want to but it needs to be gradual
Your skin will become used to the product so you need to start introducing whatever you want to use once a while so your skin recognizes it too
For example, I was on a skincare routine but I realized I wanted to stop so I eventually started using my cocoa butter at night so my skin recognizes the product and eventually I stopped and my skin is okay
I hope I make sense though

Okay, I hope I read that carefully and digest it because I seem not to understand it.
