Who in your life inspires you to become the best version of yourself and how do they do so?

Growing up was beautiful, especially as a daddy girl, I got all I wanted and got someone who didn't mind me failing as long as I did not give up on myself. I had someone who made me understand the genuine meaning of love and made me want to be a better person for myself. I had someone whose smile and happiness meant a lot to me and vice-versa and who made me feel I belong and can do whatever I set my mind to do and be whomever I wish to be as long as I am happy doing it and being it.

He taught me values, principles, morals, love, respect, humility, being responsibility, taught me a lot that although didn't understand why he gave me such a training ground, I got to understand better years after.

I had someone who although at a young age, gave me the floor to strive and thrive while he was my go-to, my confidant, the shoulder I leaned on, my hero, my backbone, my first cheerleader, and my adviser. I had someone who wouldn't mind going to the ends of the earth to make sure I achieved what I wanted to achieve and make sure I was comfortable, I had someone who made me realize I was more and should never settle for less regardless of the waves of life.

A man who was ready and willing to support my dream with his last drop even if it wasn't what he wished me to go for one who would give me the floor to make decisions for myself and my life at such a young age, and just be there to guide me and support me the best way. He taught me what shouldering responsibility was at a young age, and taught me what being independent meant as a young lady, and never felt or thought less of me because I was a girl child.

Wasn't perfect, and had a lot of flaws but he was the only person who inspired me. My Father (daddy) was the one person who inspired me in life, right from a young age. He was one man who pushed me and encouraged me to do better because he saw I could do better and believed that I could do better.

Well, he may not be in my life now, but he will always be in my heart and every day I wake up, I strive to be better and do better, because he believed in me, had confidence in me, encouraged and supported me even when I did not see the potential I had and didn't know I could be more and stand out wherever I want to.

He is late, been away in my life for the best part of my teenage/youth age but every moment, and memory spent with him for the few years he was alive is enough to keep me going and keep pushing me till I become that woman he saw and believed in. He may not be alive anymore but he has and will always be my forever inspiration.

He inspires me to be me, to be confident in myself, to love myself more, to cherish myself and who I am, to believe in myself even when nobody does, to encourage myself, to not slack in my responsibility as a sister to my siblings and daughter to my mother. He inspires me to be ME, wherever I am.

Good fathers are priceless. Reading this just highlighted why they are and your father must be proud too watching all the way from there as his daughter matures into a beautiful woman

Thank you 😊, writing this broke my heart because we both had dreams, we had plans, and we both shared it together hoping he would be there to see me through but unfortunately he left. I want to believe that he is proud of his little girl wherever he is 😪

I pray that he continues to rest in peace, and may you continue to make him proud and smile when he looks down at you from heaven above.

Your father is super cool, teaching you what's right and making you experience life even at the young age. A father like this is super rare now, unfortunately.

You have a great father, and so are you. For sure, he will always be proud of you. I have the same feeling. My mom passed away. It is so painful, but I know she will always be there guiding me and always proud of me. Stay strong!

So sorry, for your loss, death of a loved one can not be forgotten.

Yeah I realized that much later but I am glad he was who he was.

Thank you 😊

Horay for Dad.
I'm more close to my Dad as my Mom was no home as often with her career. I got my workaholic work ethic from her of course. I'd know he'd be supportive of me even on the aftermath of my own bad decisions.

LoL, wow, glad to see a daddy's girl.

Wow, I could say same for myself, got his resilient character from him.

He would always be, they only get angry about our choices but can not do anything but stand by us and love us. 😊

Thank you 😊

Cheers 🥂 to them.

We have fathers and we have FATHERS, those who are indeed fathers and always in the gap for their kids and I am glad to have had one of them as my dad.

Thank you 😊
