A week with $19k

Just making my calculation and realizing that $19k will amount to about 30,000,000.00 Nigerian Naira is putting a lot of smile on my face and my head is already spinning about what I should do and should not do with such an amount of money in my hand. Would you blame a girl who constantly has one or two things to worry about?
Not just me, try asking an average sane Nigerian what he or she would do with $19k in a week and they would tell you what they will do with that amount of money in a day. Hehehe 😃. Don't play, boys are not smiling, the economy is really hitting hard and home on everyone and everyone is beginning to understand and feel the effect of bad governance and the greediness of people, the funny thing is we will always survive it, we always find a way around it, leaving the poorest among us to suffer for electing bad governments on sits and the greediness or selfishness of others.
Well, back to the question, at hand, so if I am given $19k to spend in a week, the first thing I am going to be doing is getting a structure were I can call a "Home" or "house", I am going for an already made because I may likely not be able or it may not be possible to get a land and start building on it with that actual amount but I am sure that I can get an already erected structure for a little lesser of that amount, and it would be lovely to see something lesser, so that I can use the remaining money to furnish the house to my taste.
My reasons are not far-fetched, apart from the fact that having a house of my own, I mean a house that has my name written on the receipt, anyone who lives in Nigeria especially states like Abuja, Lagos, and Akwa Ibom can attest to the fact that price of houses in these state are heartbreaking. The sad thing is the prices are nothing compared to the old ugly-looking structures these landlords and landladies put up for rent. Like, they hike the prices of their houses, with the excuse that the prices of cement and materials for building houses have increased as well even when most of them built these houses back then in the '80s and '90s and have not made any attempt to refurbish it.
It is disheartening that parents who send their kids to school from another state, have to sell most of their properties just to be able to afford a more comfortable living and reading space for their kids if hotels are not available for them and workers who are earning little stipends have to save up their whole salary just to be able to afford a roof over their head or become homeless. These do not include the daily feeding and toiletries, I hope you all are seeing the mathematical, so if I get any opportunity to liberate myself, the first thing I would be doing is getting a house, not renting, but buying the already structured building if buying land and building is going to obstruct such plan.

One thing I hope to get in this building is a shop space since it's going to be more like a family house, I would love to set up my mom, so if it comes with a shop space, it would be nice to make plans for her to use the shop space for selling, I do know that the money at hand would not be enough doe the setting up of the shop space, so it would be a gradual process and plan for me. The good thing is that I don't get to pay house rent yearly and don't get to pay for the shop space, it is killing two birds with one stone.
If for any reason, after purchasing the building, and setting up the place to my desired taste, I still have enough to spend, then I go on a shopping spree, you wouldn't want to see me when I am on a shopping spree. Lol, I have a few handbags and shoes, that I have saved in my gallery for God knows when, so yeah, I would be using that opportunity to get all of them. I think a million will do this job, so this wouldn't be a bad idea to go for a change of wardrobe. Chuo
Oh, I almost forgot, I can not buy everything and forget to buy my hair products and hair tools, especially those I have not been able to purchase due to the high cost of things, so I will be shopping for those too and approximately eighty thousand would do the job for me, because I will be stocking up. I will go ahead to stock up the house with foodstuffs and beverages, I mean what is a house without food? 😆.
My plan with the money first is to be sure that I and my family have been able to get for ourselves our needs and necessities especially my mom, to make sure she is standing independent, just in case I am not around her. My priority is to make sure that she is comfortable, and can take care of herself when I am not around or busy acquiring a good future for myself and living my dream lifestyle.

Buying a house is a very ideal thing to do.
Yeah, it is especially with the way things are going.
Thank you 😊
Getting a landed property will indeed be great in the long run when rent begins to come in.
Yeah, it serves not just for the now but for future purposes.
Thank you 😊
