A few days after my father passed away, on December 26th, I was with one of my sons in the backyard and saw a medium-sized butterfly land on one of the plants. I tought I saw something blue as it fluttered by. I hadn't yet encountered Hive, so I didn't take photographs as often as I do now.

I have heard about black and yellow butterfly. It's the first time I am reading about Blue Butterfly. So is the blue color generally attached to this omen or is it just the thing happened in your case.

Blue butterflies are part of a family called Lycaenidae. Most of the ones I've seen are small, and you can only see the blue color fleetingly during flight, since it's on their backs and they perch with their wings closed. The idea that they can be a sign from heaven was actually my own invention. Thank you so much.
