[En-Es] Drawing of a harlequin butterfly

Hello friends.
A few days ago, I found two beautifully colored front wings of a butterfly in my backyard. One was almost complete, and the other was broken.

Hace días encontré en el patio de mi casa dos alas delanteras de una mariposa de colores muy bellos. Una estaba casí completa y la otra rota.

Since I can't get photos of a complete live specimen, I decided to draw the rest using colored pencils and markers.

Como no puedo tener fotos de un ejemplar vivo completo, se me ocurrió dibujar el resto usando lápices de colores y marcadores.

After identifying the species and using the wings as a reference, I looked for a photo of it on the internet to make a sketch.

Después de identificar la especie y
usando como referencia las alas busqué una foto de ella, en internet, para hacer un croquis.

For this I used brown crayon.

Para ello usé creyon de color marrón.

Then I filled the body with brown and the wings with blue and purple.

Después rellené el cuerpo con marrón y las alas con azul y morado.

To define I used crayon and fine black marker.

Para definir usé creyon y marcador negro fino.

Since the drawing had a lot of smudges and I had made the head too big, I decided to cut it out....

Como el dibujo tenía muchos borrones y yo había hecho muy grande la cabeza decidí recortar....

I glued it to another white sheet and drew the head and antennas again.

la pegué a otra hoja blanca y volví a dibujar cabeza y antenas.

Now we can get an idea of ​​what a beautiful 🦋Harlequin Butterfly looks like.

Ahora sí podemos darnos una idea del aspecto de una bella 🦋Mariposa arlequín.
