Hello, Splinters Fanatics!
Another week has passed and we're back for another Battle Mage Secrets, a weekly challenge where players share their strategies and secrets according to a chosen Ruleset. Today's chosen ruleset was Lost Legendary, a restrictive rule that excludes Legendary monsters on the battlefield.

Who doesn't love legendary monsters? I'm passionate, because they have so many abilities and are so powerful. But there's still plenty of choice, as we can seek shelter in Epic, rare and common monsters, many of which have excellent stats.
For this reason, players should preferably have common and rare rarity cards in their collections, as they will always be used in every battle. If you're just starting out in Splinterlands, try to buy or rent cards with these rarities. Legendary and Epic cards are extremely powerful, but they can't always be used.
There aren't many secrets to this ruleset, but to make up for the lack of Legendary monsters you can use Legendary Summoners whenever possible, as they grant allied monsters various abilities.

As far as monsters are concerned, with the arrival of the Riftwatchers Edition, Common monsters are not so Common. The high mana makes these monsters extremely powerful, which can sometimes be compared to Legendary monsters. However, it's not often that they can be used due to the high mana cost.

Modern mode is extremely competitive, even more so now that Wild mode requires an extra cost to play. So the players who remain in Splinterlands have often migrated to Modern mode.
Our battle took place in the Silver League, in Brawl, and featured the following Rule Set: Equal Opportunity, Lost Magic and Lost Legendary. In addition, all Splinters were available, except Fire, and there was 43 mana available.

With the exclusion of magic monsters, I decided to bet on a team focused on melee damage monsters, so I chose the Summoner POSSIBILUS THE WISE, from Splinter Water. This summoner grants the ability Reach, Trample and (+2) additional health to all allied monsters. My opponent also had the same strategy, so perhaps this was the most convenient option.
My line-up strategy:
![]() | In the first position, I chose DIEMONSHARK as the main tank, because he has a lot of health and armor, as well as reasonable melee damage. |
![]() | In second position, I've chosen VENARI MARKSRAT as a discard monster, as it's the first monster to be attacked due to its low health and Equal Opportunity ruleset. Its Martyr ability serves to increase the stats of adjacent monsters. |
![]() | In the next position I cast COASTAL SENTRY, which has the ability Duble Strike and gains Reach from the summoner allowing it to attack from the second position. This monster deals a lot of damage to the opponent. |
![]() | In fourth position, I've chosen ISGALD VORST, who has the ability Bloodlust, because he's a gladiator. All the melee monsters presented here have a very strong synergy with the Summoner. |
![]() | In the penultimate position, I've chosen SUPPLY RUNNER, who has the ability Swiftness, to increase our team's speed. |
![]() | In the last position I chose SWAMP SPITTER, which has the ability repair, excellent for restoring the armor of the monsters in front of it. |

The battle begins and the field is covered with Melee damage monsters, some of which are the same for both players. However, what will guarantee victory is the position and strategy used. One monster that gave the opponent the advantage from the start was WAVE BROOD, which has the ability taunt, which attracts almost all the damage to itself. But due to our team's offensive power, even with its high amount of health, it didn't last the first round.

In the second round, ISGALD VORST had the lowest health and was the target of the enemy monsters. However, due to the offensive nature of our team, we managed to decimate several of them. Even gladiodor himself managed to defeat COASTAL SENTRY (opponent) and thus activate his bloodlust ability and still activate Trample.
In the final round, you can see that our team's strategy was the winner and the most offensive. But it was all down to VENARI MARKSRAT, who served as Martyr and increased the power of our monsters.

The way the enemy monsters were positioned and staggered caused their defeat, and using the Ruleset Equal Opportunity to our advantage was a good strategy that guaranteed us victory in this battle. Look how much Legendary cards are missed!

Mais uma semana se passou e estamos de volta para mais um Battle Mage Secrets, um desafio semanal onde os jogadores compartilham suas estrategias e segredos em função de uma Ruleset escolhida. Hoje o Ruleset escolhido foi Lost Legendary uma regra do tipo restritiva que exclui monstros Lendários no campo de batalha.

Quem não ama monstros lendários? Eu sou apaixonado, pois ele possuem muitas habilidades e são poderosos. Mas, ainda resta muitas opções, pois podemos buscar abrigo nos monstros Épico, raro e comum, muitos deles possuem excelente estatísticas.
Por isso, o jogador deve ter em sua coleções, de preferência, cartas de raridade comuns e raras, pois elas serão sempre utilizadas em todas as batalhas. Para um jogodor que está iniciando em Splinterlands procure adquirir ou alugar cartas com essas raridades. Cartas Lendárias e Épicas são extremamente poderosas, mas nem sempre podem ser utilizadas.
Para esse Ruleset não existe muito segredos, porém para compensar a falta de monstros Lendários podemos utilizar Invocadores Lendários, sempre que possível, pois eles concedem várias habilidades aos monstros aliados.

Em relação aos monstros, com a chegada da Edição Riftwatchers os monstros Comuns não são tão Comuns assim. A mana elevado torna esses monstros extremamente poderosos, que as vezes podem ser comparados aos monstros Lendários. Porém, não é sempre que eles podem ser utilizados devido ao alto custo de mana.

O modo Moderno está extremamente competitico, ainda mais agora que o modo Wild exige um custo a mais para jogo. Então, os jogadores que permanecem em Splinterlands muitos deles migraram para o modo Moderno.
Nossa batalha aconteceu na Liga Prata, no Brawl, e contou com o seguinte Conjunto de Regras: Equal Opportunity, Lost Magic e Lost Legendary. Além disso, todos os Splinter estavam disponível, exceto Fogo, e havia 43 de mana disponível.

![]() | Na próxima posição escalei COASTAL SENTRY, que possui a habilidade Duble Strike e ganha Reach do invocador permitindo atacar da segunda posição, este monstro causa muito dano ao oponente. |
![]() | Na quarta posição escalei ISGALD VORST, que possui a habilidade Bloodlust, pois é um gladiador. Todos os monstros melee apresentados aqui tem um sinergia muito forte com o Invocador. |
![]() | Na penúltima posição escalei SUPPLY RUNNER, que possui a habilidade Swiftness, para aumenta a velocidade de nosso time. |

A batalha é iniciada e o campo esta coberto de monstros de dano Melee, alguns até iguais para ambos os jogadores. Porém, o que irá garantir a vitória é a posição e estratégia utilizada. Um monstro que desde o início deixou o oponente em vantagem foi WAVE BROOD, que possui a habilidade taunt, que atrai quase todos os danos para si. Mas, devido ao poder ofensivo do nosso time, mesmo com sua alta quantidade de saúde, não durou a primeira rodada.

Na segunda rodada, ISGALD VORST por ter a menor saúde era o alvo dos monstros inimigos. Mas, devido a ofensividade do nosso time conseguimos dizimar vários deles. Inclusive o próprio gladiodor conseguiu derrotar COASTAL SENTRY (oponente) e assim ativar sua habilidade bloodlust e ainda ativa Trample.
Na rodada final é possivel perceber que a estrategia do nosso time foi a vencedora e a mais ofensiva. Mas, tudo se deve a VENARI MARKSRAT que servir de Martyr e aumentou o poder dos nossos monstros.

A forma como os monstros inimigos foram posicionados e escalados causaram a sua derrota, além disso utilizar o Ruleset Equal Opportunity ao nosso favor foi uma boa estratégia que nos garantiu a vitoria nessa batalha. Olha como cartas Lendárias não fazem falta!
