Generally, in my city, on Wednesdays we have all-you-can-eat deals or promotions at snack bars, pizzerias, and various other establishments. It had been a long time since I had been to an all-you-can-eat place, but, after much insistence from my wife, I finally gave in. After all, I'm not a big fan of this type of meal, because we always end up eating much more than we should.

I prefer to go to a pizzeria on a normal day, when we eat only what we need, without overdoing it. But since it had been a long time since the last time, I decided not to argue and went with my wife. The pizzeria was packed, and when we arrived, there weren't even any tables available. Luckily for us, a couple was just getting up, and we got their table.

The evening was wonderful—eating well and being in good company is undoubtedly one of the best things in life. We tried several pizzas, with different flavors, each one more delicious than the last. My favorites are the shrimp and rib pizzas, which are actually the tastiest ones at this pizzeria.

Geralmente, na minha cidade, às quartas-feiras temos rodízios ou promoções em lanchonetes, pizzarias e vários outros estabelecimentos. Já fazia muito tempo que eu não ia a um rodízio, mas, por muita insistência da minha esposa, acabei cedendo. Afinal, não sou muito fã desse tipo de refeição, pois a gente sempre acaba comendo muito mais do que devia.

Prefiro ir à pizzaria em um dia comum, quando comemos apenas o necessário, sem exageros. Mas, como já fazia bastante tempo desde a última vez, resolvi não criar conflito e acompanhei minha esposa. A pizzaria estava lotada e, quando chegamos, nem havia mesa disponível. Nossa sorte foi que um casal estava justamente se levantando, e conseguimos a mesa deles.

A noite foi maravilhosa — comer bem e estar em boa companhia é, sem dúvida, uma das melhores coisas da vida. Experimentamos várias pizzas, de diversos sabores, uma mais gostosa que a outra. Minhas preferidas são as de camarão e de costela, que, na verdade, são as mais saborosas dessa pizzaria.
