This photo was taken during an incredible weekend with some friends at my wife's aunt's beach house. She kindly gave us her house, which is simply wonderful, with four large bedrooms and an impeccable structure, ideal for those who want to spend an excellent weekend with the family.

As soon as we arrived, the most striking feature was the tree in front of the pool. It's a Blue Palm Tree, a tree that, although it takes up a lot of space, enchants with its beauty. If I had more space at home, I would certainly have brought a branch of it to plant.

Everyone was impressed by the beauty of the tree, and because it is close to the pool, it provides generous shade, making the environment even more pleasant and protecting those who are in the water during the day. Trees perform several functions: in addition to protecting us from the sun, they help convert carbon dioxide into oxygen and, for the more superstitious, they are said to absorb the evil eye and envy. This was my contribution to the 23rd #hivebrphotocontest, whose theme is “Tree”. I hope you like the image!

Essa foto foi tirada em um final de semana incrível, ao lado de alguns amigos, na casa de praia da tia de minha esposa. Ela gentilmente nos cedeu sua casa, que é simplesmente maravilhosa, com quatro quartos amplos e uma estrutura impecável, ideal para quem deseja passar um excelente final de semana com a família.

Logo que chegamos, o que mais chamou a atenção foi uma árvore em frente à piscina. Trata-se de uma Palmeira-Azul, uma árvore que, embora ocupe bastante espaço, encanta pela sua beleza. Se eu tivesse mais espaço em casa, com certeza teria trazido um ramo dela para plantar.

Todos ficaram impressionados com a beleza da árvore, e, por estar próxima à piscina, ela proporciona uma sombra generosa, tornando o ambiente ainda mais agradável e protegendo quem está na água durante o dia. As árvores desempenham diversas funções: além de nos proteger do sol, ajudam a converter o dióxido de carbono em oxigênio e, para os mais supersticiosos, dizem que elas absorvem o mal olhado e a inveja.
