The tiny creatures

avatar

This Sunday post will be my contribution to #sublimesunday initiated by @c0ff33a, #beautifulsunday initiated by @ace108, and my #sundayrandom where I share my random macro shots.

on my little quest when I was at my parent's house in search of a tiny mushroom, I picked up a little decayed woodchipped that was lying on the ground in one part of the house where my parents usually store the firewood.

While I was definitely disappointed in my quest for mushrooms, but instead I found a few of these tiny creatures, part of our huge and wild world, playing an integral part in making a balanced life here on earth. which somehow we tend to miss quite easily.

in the first photo here, you will see two different species side by side on the woodchips. One I think was a kind of caterpillar, and the other one mighr be some kind of a prepupa of some kind of fly.

Here you can see that the caterpillar was trying to escape me, it started to walk around the woodchip.

And here the last species that I have today for this Sundar random is this tiny beetle or bug, it is so small, even the splinter of the woodchips looks bigger than the beetle.

I am not really sure what species this beetle is, but it was just sit still when I took the photos back then.

The textures that are created from this micro-world are really interesting. You are a great observer. 😃

These creatures are hard to see unless you play close attention.

Yep, the size really makes it difficult to notice.
