The beauty and the beast
In my recent photo hunt, I found this little weed whose leaves are filled with so many holes. I tried to search for the culprit, but I could not find it. My first guess was that this was the result of the bad acts of the grasshopper. Since I could not find the culprit, I tried to focus on the lovely flower this weed has.
You can see the beauty of this flower below, with its bright yellow stamens and five white petals that resemble stars. It looks so beautiful, doesn't it?
Then I tries to photograph the other flower, and then I noticed something in the background, and I believe that might be the real culprit which caused the destruction of the leaf.
And boom, here is the beast that has caused all of holes on the leaves.
The funny thing was that this little beast is still on its lunch time, kept eating the tasty part of the leaf. It was resting on the underside of the leaf, and I have to turn the branch to be able to take these photos.
It is actually a lovely insect with its color and its black dot pattern, but since it could cause such a problem, I would not want to get any visit from them in my farm in the future. And despite my love for insects, I might have to fight them in the future when I am on my farming journey.

Our rose bush leaves are filled with holes like this, but the culprit has yet to be identified. We have tried every natural form of insect repellent, but may have to resort to unnatural eventually before it kills our rose bush.
have you tried the onion skin fermentation? or the tobacco one?
maybe the last resort you have to use the chemical on, otherwise there will be so many hole and in the end will destroy your rose.
Haven't tried any of those. Can't say I ever heard of them before. Thanks for the tips though.
Hiciste un excelente trabajo de fotografía, la planta se ve increíble y se puede apreciar la naturaleza en su mayor esplendor. 😊

There are season when I see this insect everywhere, definitely didn't thought previously that they could be this capable of destruction with plants. Thanks for the insight and amazing angle shots, as always :)
They are too cute to be the culprit right?
