Shiny Black Ant

I am so happy that I can get the photo of this shiny black ant. It moves rather quickly although it is mostly alone when I found it. It fast movement make is hard for me to take the photos. But there another lucky factor which help me to get these photos.

The luck was that the plant when I find it was rather small, with a lot of small leaves. And because of that usually this ant will spot at the rim othe leaf, or the tip of the branch, foa a little inscpection.

During thiose stop that give me the chance to take several photos of this ant.

I really love the shiny color and also its big size. Certainly I don't want to mess with it,I don't want to get bitten. hahah

Nice shots of that tiny thing! It cooperated at the edges of the leaves for a second or two which is great. How are things going for you and the family?
