Scarab beetle

This scarb beetle actualy was having a lazy morning that day, as he barely move when I found it and decided to take several photos of this beetle.

This beetle is more likely to be Protaetia acuminata. this is the species of the Protaetia, Protaetia is a genus of beetles of the family Scarabaeidae, occurring primarily in Asia, and containing over 300 species

Protaetia acuminata or Mango Flower Beetle is usually found innear the mango plantation which is why it got its name. It feed on the leaf, and the flower of the mango plant, or any other plant that might host this beetle.

The size of this beetle is quite big, and I believe it can be a huge problem for manggo farmers if they are around in large quantities, as they feed on the flower, which later will affect the number of the manggo crop that they can have.

Looks scary in some ways, I think the slowness could be a byproduct of having eaten a heavy meal, maybe!
