Ready to harvest

This will be another short post from me, and what i have today is the little report from my farm.

These are the corn that I planted about two monts ago that is ready to harvest. And I will do it after the ceremony. This is one of the fast growing, and fast harvest type of corn. We usually don't grow it until it really old and try to sell the corn for animal feed, but we sell it as a snacking corn. For those who love boiled corn, or the grilled one, this is the type of corn that they usually use.

But the issue that I have is that the harvest and the selling is need to be done manually. As there are no big buyer that wanted to buy them all or if they are, usually they buy it at lower price.

for the selling, I need help from my untie who usually will sell it by the road, and she usually sell it for two or three days max.

there is another plan I have already, which is to sell it online, maybe through facebook marketplace or stuff, so that it can be sold faster.

But all I know, corn is one of the easiest crop to grow, and also pretty profitable compared to rice.

Nice. It is still winter here. Hope you find someone to buy your corn. We are looking to plant some tomato seedlings tomorrow. We will keep them in the hosue until spring. Then plan to transplant them.

I suddenly crave for boiled corn after reading this. And its been a long time since I last ate grilled corn, I miss it too 🤤. If only we have a nice plot to plant corn. Mama will surely plant them. Good luck with the harvest.
