Qurator's Photo Quest | Spiders

avatar

Qurator as always is having their weekly photo contest, and this time I think I have a series of good photos that I can use as the entry for their contest, and the subject is the spider, one of the small creatures that become the subject for my macro photos. Anyway if you wich to join their contest please kindly read and follow the rules and the guidelines in the Qurator's Photo Quest | Spiders - announcement

And the first photo below will be my entry for this week's contest.

This is a small spider that I found in the small palm tree in my parent's house. It was early int he morning when I found this little spider wandering around the tree, and luckily I managed to take several photos of this little guy.

I think this one is from the Cosmophasis Genus, from the Jumping Spider family which has so many species.

They are not a web-threading spider species, in which they mostly will hunt their prey, and that is the reason they are very mobile, and will not stay in one place.

I have seen this guy quite a lot, even separated by so many kilometers, which shows how wide their distribution.

The texture of their body is really amazing to look at, it's looks much more brighter than their environment. Amazing macro shots my friend :)

I love the rainbow color in it body, but I hate spiders because I have been beaten by it and the kind of scary noise carried by spiders at midnight.
