PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - Lynx spider

This post will be my entry for @photofeed macro photography contest If you wish to join the contest please kindly read and follow the rules and guidelines here for Contest Round 117

This lynx spider seems to enjoy its post on my hibiscus flower. Maybe it is because it can be a place for the other flying insect to hop on, and a hunting place for the jumping spider so that it decided to stay here a little bit longer.

Last time I made the post about this spider catching a jumping spider, but today I have it alone still in its ambush position, maybe waiting for the prey to come close to its proximity before launching a surprise attack.

I will use the first image below as my entry for this week's contest.

I always love the color pattern of this spider as well as the hairs on its long legs. So beautiful yet such a great predator.

Great shots man!

It’s funny I had a jumping spider hang out with me briefly on my deck the other day :D I wanted to get a photo but I don’t have a good macro lens yet. Thought of you when I saw the fella though!

Such spiders don't eat the plant but the insects, and that's why they are good for plants. I always love your photography, it always motivates me to take better photos😄 good luck with the contest, my friend! 👍🏼
