Perfect Camouflage?

I didn't expected much on my last photowalk in my normal photo hunting place, as the place are filled with wedelia shrubs, which is not a very good place to find some interesting animal as they are too tick, and there are a lot of hiding place for the insect to hide for me.

But then I found these interesting, and maybe a bunch of camouflage expert in the area. it was my second look that I notice they are animal there, as I only see it as part of the leaf at first.

It was a bunch of caterpillar siting still, belly up on leaf of a wild plant. In the photo below, maybe you can still see the difference between the leaf at the top, and the caterpillar on the bottom side of the frame.

Now see this type and color of the leaf from the same plant, it looks pretty similar to the color of the caterpilalr body isn't it?
That is why I said that I also got fooled by these caterpillar.

Judging by what the caterpillar left, I think they eat quite well, and could really destroy the plant in no time without any intervention to stop the infestation.

Now look at this, can you guess how many caterpillar in this shot? is it one? or how many. I have to tell you that those orange greenish color at the background are actually the caterpillar, sitting nicely try to evade the predator in what I think as the perfect camouflage.
