one big fly, one small fly, and a tiny spider with its prey

This Sunday post will be my contribution to #sublimesunday initiated by @c0ff33a, #beautifulsunday initiated by @ace108, and my #sundayrandom where I share my random macro shots.

happy Sunday everyone, it is so nice to see you all in this second Sunday of December. last week I didn't make the usual Sunday post since it coincides with the Power Up day.

with that, I bring a lot of photos today, a little compensation, and also it is because I don't really have many random macro photos in my collection. : )

The first one today is this big fly that was resting on the leaves of the short shrub. The funny thing was that this fly maybe was disturbed by my existence, but too lazy or still too cold to fly away from me. That is what it was rotating away from me in the photos below, rather then flying away. it was not until I bumped my diffuser hood then it finally flew away.

Then I have this smaller black fly, but this one seem to be from he hoverfly family. This one I took sometime later from the first fly, thus it flew away after just one shot as the weather already warmed up a little bit.

And the last one for today is this small jumping spider which has holding onto its prey. the spider is very small, maybe not more than a few millimeters long, and the prey was even smaller, maybe some kind of a small insect.

I was trying to get sharper shots, but it seems that the spider was too small so I could not get it very sharp, and the magnification that my set up could not make the spider larger.
