Nature's Origami Master

This insect really is such a master is folding its wings, so I must say that this little guy is one of the origami masters that nature has. The funny thing is that I only knew this little guy actually has wings after I watched some documentaries about this insect, because I used to know it as a helpless wingless insect, which looks so fragile. But I was totally wrong, because this little guy actually has wings and they managed to fold it so nicely that you can't see them with your naked eyes, even with the help of a macro camera like in the photo below, I bet you also think that this guy doesn't have wings.

This little guy is Earwig. This guy is actually a nocturnal, which means they are mostly active at night, but I got him early in the morning, maybe a little bit exhausted from the night routine, so it just moved slowly in the morning.

With the shiny black color body, this guy is so beautiful, even with the scary fake stingers on its back.

Unfortunately, I was not lucky enough to be able to capture this guy spreading its wings. sp I could not show you its origami wing fold.

When I saw the title, I thought it was a leaf that's an origami master lol. The shiny body really stood out against the leaf it's resting on.

I really like the colour scheme on this bug with coppery looking back. That tale looks spiky 😮

Yes it looks spiky and dangerous, but apparently it is almost harmless as it doesn't have stingers. Maybe just to scare off the predator.
