Interesting creature

I was amazed when I saw this creature for the first time, because ti seems that this guy is a fusion of several species, and put it is one body. Look at the creature below for yourself?

The coloration seems like it is somekind of a bee, as it has the yellow and black combination of its body. But the long and slime body does't match with the bee characteristic. And also, bee usually will buzz, and fly alot to be able to feed of the nectar of the flower, while this one is too big to do such kind of activities.

Now look at the stinger that it has on the end of its abdomen, which suggest it might be able to sting. Maybe a kind of wasp, but again it is too big to do such activities, and I don't think it is agile enough like the other wasp species.

Now look at the face feature of this species which resembele the one that most of the mosquito has, only the suckers is not that apparent. And with its huge size, I think it will be an easy target if we want to smack it when it landed on our body. hahaha

Or maybe it is somekind of fly? so what do you think if this interesting creature?
Overall, I am so happy to be able to find it and able to photograph this guy.

Hello @ekavieka friend!... It's a cute 😍 specimen from some species of the Tipulidae family! Here in my country (Venezuela) we also have them, and some look like enormous mosquitoes, which is why people tend to shoo them away or squash them ☹️. But they actually feed by sipping nectar from flowers; they're cute and harmless to humans. Great photos, thanks for sharing!
