Happy Family

I promise that this will be the last post from my cousin graduation ceremony, because this is such a great occasion and great achievement for my family. The number of citizen here in my province that go to the university is quite high, but it is still a privilege for some of the family in the village to be able to send the kids to the university.

From my mother side, only the two sons out of the 9 siblings that was able to go to a one year diploma, while the other only the youngest daughter who even go to the Senior High School, the other didn't even go to school. My mother is illiterate, as she dropped out of the school on the second grade, which she regretted so much.

And then our of the two of my uncle, only one who married and has kids. The eldest who is a boy, has already finished his one year diploma in tourism, and now he works in one of the Hotel in Kuta, Bali.

Look at his happy face, still giving smile while waiting for the graduation ceremony.

and then here is the youngest one, just graduated from Senior High School, and will continue her study next year, as at the moment she could not really decided which faculty to choose. Also financial issue played part on her decision as well.

Here is the proud father and mother, my uncle and his wife. While maybe in the US or in the western world, when the kids are graduated from Senior High school, then it is up to them to pay for the college, but here mostly it is still part of the parents responsibility to help them to go to the university or the college.

Oh, its same here in the Philippines though really was forced to provide for themselves especially if they really want to study for their dreams or something. Anyways, congratulation to your cousin. This is actually such a good vibe and very inspiring post. 💃🌼✨
