Mixed feelings with Abby
Greetings to all Mom's , aunties, uncle's and fathers here in this community.
My experience today, So today I went to work with my toddler and our day in the office was sweet but little bit of stress. Couple with the fact that I have to look After her. After the whole day at work , we came back home , so I decided to fix something for us to us. Because she's a picky eater, after the preparation I fed her. I was tired I decided to just rest my back on my bed , I carried her to the bedroom , trying to make her sleep then I dozed off.

After some minutes, about 15 to 20 minutes I jumped up, I noticed the house was quite, because it was just the both of us that were at home, my sister in-law hasn't returned from work nor my husband so it was just the both of us at home. Then I turned seeing my daughter has done wonders with my powder and was swimming in it. With the excitement on her face , when I opened my eyes, I was confused on what to do as at the time.

Mixed Feelings
The expression on her face made me weak, I didn't know what to do, if I am to cry, smile, laugh, beat her or what? I was just staring at her in amazed, at a point I smiled with her, asking me: Abby what have you done, and she began speaking in an unknown language that only she understands. I was confused, I tried carrying her to change her clothes she refused at some point, she agreed, but then added to my stress. Because I was already exhausted for the day and didn't expect any more of stress all I needed as at that time was rest. I had to remove the bed spread, lay another one then take the other to wash and in this rainy season that clothes hardly gets dry and it was already evening.

.

In Conclusion
Life with a toddler indeed needs requires patience, tolerance, sensitivity, But the joy of being a mother can't be over emphasized.
