Sabías que tal día como ayer 12 de enero se estrenaron varias de las canciones que de seguro escuchaste de joven al principio del siglo XXI canciones que hoy en día igual que en su mayoría de las canciones de principio del 2000 todavía hoy resuenan tan duro como en su primer día de estreno eso debido a lo ya mencionado anteriores veces, hoy en día la industria ha simplificado tanto al artista que pierde la creatividad quitándoles una de las herramientas más exquisitas de la música. Hoy el sonido es resumido en ciertos ciclos armónicos y eso debido a que muchos artistas pop y urbanos usan progresiones simples y efectivas reutilizadas por la misma industria.

Did you know that on this day, January 12, several songs were released that you surely heard as a young person at the beginning of the 21st century? Songs that today, like most songs from the early 2000s, still resonate as strongly as on the day they were released. This is due to what has been mentioned previously. Today, the industry has simplified artists so much that they lose their creativity by taking away one of the most exquisite tools of music. Today, sound is summarized in certain harmonic cycles, and that is because many pop and urban artists use simple and effective progressions that are reused by the industry itself.

Esto en los años 90 y principios del 2000 no se escuchaba. De hecho mucho antes, en los años 70 u 80 la música era mucho más trabajada en Studios de grabación. Pues por ejemplo un baterista si se equivocaba debía repetir quizás toda la sesión o algunos que otros golpes, o si un vocalista se desafinaba al momento de grabar debía volver a repetir. Hoy la industria y sus estudios quizás no utilicen ese recurso dado que la tecnología está a su favor y todo pueden ajustarlo con tan solo una perilla y es ahí donde la canción pierde esa alma humana de errores y virtudes. Básicamente, le han robado el alma a este arte pero aunque ustedes no lo crean todavía hoy existen bandas con aquella vieja creatividad.

This was unheard of in the 1990s and early 2000s. In fact, much earlier, in the 1970s and 1980s, music was much more carefully crafted in recording studios. For example, if a drummer made a mistake, he might have to repeat the entire session or a few beats, or if a vocalist was out of tune during recording, he would have to repeat it. Bandas o artistas que intentan devolver esa alma a su lugar. Es como una batalla donde se enfrenta el bien y el mal. Siempre cuestiono la música que hoy está de moda, y es que aún le encuentro mucho sabor, sentido, gusto. Aunque como digo, todavía existen excepciones como por ejemplo la banda venezolana Rawayana que siendo sincero tiene canciones muy buenas y otras que quizás no las escuche nuevamente pero hay algo en ese ritmo, en esa fusión que sin duda llama mucho la atención. Creo que ellos han conseguido evolucionar ese genero que por un tiempo ha sepultado a los grandes artistas. En fin, hoy quiero volver a ese pasado que tanto me agrada y hoy no será solo rock lo que compartiré, como dije al principio del post el 12 de enero pero del 2004 se estrenaron estos singles de bandas y artistas que todavía hoy son recordabas. Algunas por cuestiones polémicas y otras por el simple hecho de hacer arte y convertir ese single en un clásico de la música. En el próximo TTT le mostraré algunos de esos artistas que considero está recuperando esa arte desde al alma mientras, en este TTT disgrutemos de estos estrenos del 2004.

Bands or artists who try to bring that soul back to its rightful place. It's like a battle between good and evil. I always question the music that's popular today, because I still find a lot of flavor, meaning, and taste in it. Although, as I say, there are still exceptions, such as the Venezuelan band Rawayana, which, to be honest, has some very good songs and others that I may not listen to again, but there's something about that rhythm, that fusion, that certainly grabs your attention. I think they have managed to evolve that genre that for a time has buried the great artists. Anyway, today I want to go back to that past that I like so much, and today it won't just be rock that I'll share. As I said at the beginning of the post, on January 12, 2004, these singles by bands and artists that are still remembered today were released. Some for controversial reasons and others for the simple fact of making art and turning that single into a music classic. In the next TTT, I'll show you some of those artists who I believe are reviving that art from the soul, while in this TTT, let's enjoy these 2004 releases.
